weekly photo challenge: merge

after last week’s photo challenge, i thought we could all do with something more… cheerful.

and have i ever got the most fanbloodytastic photo for this week’s subject, merge (even if i do say so myself)?!
this photo depicts the marriage of two of my favourite people. the bride is of indian heritage and the groom is white english. the hindu ceremony took place in what used to be a church, now converted for ceremonies and banquets. the result is a wonderful east meets west vibe. what venue could have been a more fitting place to host this merging of families and cultures?

merged.

take a gander on over to the daily post to see other submissions.
